Food trucks roll into Kelso Friday evenings this summer

Posted by on

Food Truck’N Friday is making its way from the streets of Toronto to the escarpment in Milton at Kelso Conservation Area every Friday evening from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm in July and August, featuring one of the most beautiful natural areas and some of the most flavourful food trucks in southern Ontario.

Bring your family or friends out to the park, hit the trails to work up an appetite (or go biking, boating, climbing or swimming) and then grab some food from the trucks and have dinner by the lake. Best of all, the food trucks change each week, so you can try something new every time, from arepas stuffed with rice, fried plantains, black beans and shredded beef to tempura shrimp stuffed with bacon and avocado to waffle cones piled high with chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

Entrance to this event is included in standard park admission for non-members ($7 per adult, $6 per senior, $5.25 per child ages 5-14, kids 4 and under are free). You can also pay admission at any of our seven parks and get free entrance into the park and event at Kelso Conservation Area to attend Food Truck’n Friday on the same day. Of course, Halton Parks members can enter the park and the event for free as one of the many perks that come with being a member. If you are not a member, your park entry to any of the Halton Parks the same day will also work for entry to Kelso.
