Construction is progressing on the ecological restoration project on Sixteen Mile Creek at Drumquin Park. The temporary diversion channel is complete and is now redirecting flow around the creek work area.
Throughout the month of July, work will be proceeding to restore the natural functions of the creek, improve the quality of fish habitat, remove instream fish barriers, and restore wildlife habitat within the creek floodplain. Construction is planned to be complete at the end of July.
