MILTON—Glen Eden is excited to announce that the hill will officially open today, February 16, 2021.

The opening day of Glen Eden is always highly anticipated, but this year it was more awaited than ever. In what has been a very unpredictable year for everyone, getting outside in the fresh air is important for physical and mental wellbeing.

Like everything else the last year, in the interest of public health and safety, the Glen Eden season is going to look a little different than years past. Similar to Conservation Halton’s parks, visitors will be required to make a reservation in advance of attending the hill. Face coverings must be worn at all times, both indoors and outdoors and chair lifts will be limited to two people per lift (at opposite ends of the lift) or to a maximum of four people in the same family.

Lifts will run weekdays 10 am- 9:30 pm and weekends 8:30 am- 9:30 pm beginning Tuesday, February 16, 2021. While Glen Eden anticipates that all six lifts will be running, visitors should expect a smaller terrain park than a typical year.

“The Glen Eden team has worked tirelessly to ensure that we can have as many lifts running and as much terrain open as possible. This is particularly important this year as skiers and snowboarders need space to keep adequate physical distance from one another,” said Craig Machan, Associate Director, Park Operations. “Things will look a little different, but we are excited about the upcoming season and the opportunity to provide our community with a great skiing and snowboarding experience in a safe and responsible manner.”

Glen Eden looks forward to providing a safe and fun outdoor experience for visitors throughout the winter season and reminds all visitors to monitor their health and stay home if they feel unwell.
