To make a memorial or in honor donation

Adopt a Tree

You can symbolically Adopt a Tree at any of our conservation areas to honor someone special to you.  We will send a gift card confirming your gift to the honoree. Trees can be adopted with a donation of $50 and you’ll receive a tax receipt and a certificate.  Click here to adopt a tree.

To make a gift in your will

You can help us continue to care for injured birds of prey, to plant trees, purchase important natural lands and teach children about the value of nature by making a gift in your will. For information on leaving a gift in your will, click here.

To make a gift of stocks or publicly traded securities

We have had numerous donations make gift of stock of publicly traded companies.  These gifts have supported projects including the Mountsberg Shrike Recovery Project, and education programs at Mountsberg Conservation Area and Crawford Lake Conservation Area.

Making a gift of stock is one of the least expensive ways to give.  That’s because your gift is exempt from capital gains tax, while you receive a receipt for income tax purposes for the full market value of the shares at the date of the transfer.

Call us at (905) 336-1158 extension 2256 to speak with staff about your gift.
