Getting Started! Learning to Go With the Flow- Find out how storm water is managed in your community and how it connects to you and your home at our introductory homeowner workshop. We will discuss new trends in residential landscaping, and how you can take advantage of rain water in your garden to save money, increase your home’s curb appeal, and improve the health of our local watershed.

If you are interested in attending one or all three of our workshops, please register using the button below. Cost is $8/workshop or $20/full series. Space is limited and each workshop has it’s own set of giveaways. We ask participants to register as far in advance as possible so we are able to mail the program’s workbooklet in time for your first workshop.

1) Fall Colour and Native Grasses – enjoy fall wildflowers and the bronze and silver hues of our native grasses.
Conditions: Sun – Medium to Dry Soil Moisture
Includes: Little Bluestem, Indian Grass, Switchgrass, Yellow Coneflower, Virginia Mountain Mint & Smooth Aster (Approximately 20 seeds per species/packaged separately)


2) Wildflowers for Summer Pollinators – Attract butterflies and bees to your garden this summer with vibrant colours.
Conditions: Sun to Part Shade – Moist Soil
Includes: Blue Lobelia, Swamp or Sullivant’s Milkweed, Common Sneezewood, New Engalnd Aster, Blue Vervain, Giant St. John’s Wort (Approximately 20 seeds per species/packaged separately)
