Our local frogs celebrate spring in one of nature’s most joyful choruses. Join Conservation Halton’s educators on a fun, virtual expedition to see and hear these slippery songsters. Meet the tiny but mighty spring peeper, the huge and powerful bullfrog, the bumpy and beautiful common toad (it’s really a type of frog, honest!), and other pond residents. Learn why they sing, and how to identify them by sight and sound. Hear fascinating stories about frogs, discover where to find them, and why they are so important to our environment. Finally, we’ll finish up the night with a few tips and tricks to help you and your little ones protect our froggy friends! Recommended for families and nature enthusiasts of all ages!
