Conservation Halton hosts inaugural craft brew and food festival Hops & Harvest

Posted by on

BURLINGTON – Conservation Halton will host their first craft brew and food festival from October 13th until October 14th, 2018 in Kelso Conservation Area from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day. Hops & Harvest is an autumn festival that features breweries, food vendors, and artisans while celebrating the great outdoors. Inspired by the changing fall colours of the escarpment, the patchwork of farm fields and the abundance of fresh produce appearing in farmers markets, Hops & Harvest is a unique opportunity to hike the trails, take a chairlift ride, admire the spectacular scenery, and then sample craft brews and seasonal eats.

It is not too late for boat rentals down at the reservoir. Paddle boats, stand-up paddle boards, and kayaks are a peaceful way to experience the fall colours reflecting on the water.

While at Kelso, we invite festival attendees to try the new Challenge Course. Climb to new heights and hang out with us on our Escarpment Walk Aerial Course and the Vultures View Climbing Tower.

For craft beer and food connoisseurs in search of fall flavours and outdoor enthusiasts looking to taste something different, Hops & Harvest is about bringing people together and creating opportunities to celebrate the natural and cultural heritage of the Niagara Escarpment.
