Yoga in the Park every Wednesday night at Rattlesnake Point starting May 24, 2017

Conservation Halton and Moksha Yoga Milton have teamed up for the third straight year to offer Yoga in the Park every Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area. The sessions start Wednesday, May 24 and will continue until Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

All ages and abilities are welcome to join us! We do ask, however, that anyone under the age of 18 have a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver.

Moksha yoga is a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Moksha classes are intended to open, strengthen and detoxify the entire body. The traditional 40 posture series is done in a 90 minute class, though there are 60 and 75 minute condensed versions. It is suitable for all levels. The session offered at Yoga in the Park at Rattlesnake Point is 60 minutes in length.

Classes are free with the purchase of regular gate admission; Halton Parks Members are completely free. This program has become extremely popular, so be sure to come early and while you’re here explore the park.
