The wooded trails at Mountsberg are always beautiful around this time of year but now we have made them more magical than ever! The Winterlit Trail (600m round trip) features a unique and stunning lighting experience with inspirational art installations along the trail. Also at Mountsberg, the Illuminated Sugar Bush Trail (1km round trip) features soft overhead lighting to allow for a beautiful evening stroll through the sugar bush. This experience will include soundtracks from local musicians while you enjoy the beauty of Mountsberg in winter, safely.
We are pleased to offer the Winterlit program under the new provincial guidelines in consultation with the City of Hamilton Public Health Services. Please only visit with those in your household and maintain physical distancing at all times. Read our detailed FAQs here.
Gatherings of more than five people are not permitted under public health regulations in any setting. Therefore, gathering with more than five people (unless your household exceeds five) at Winterlit is not permitted and may result in guests being asked to leave the park.
