Ways of the Woods
Ways of the Woods campers are outside all day, every day, on the beautiful Niagara Escarpment far away from any screens. Campers have exclusive, insider access to all of the facilities and features of Conservation Halton. Campers explore Conservation Halton parks supervised and guided by our mature, trained, and experienced counselors.
Your child will try biking, rock climbing, caving, archery, and boating, among many other activities in our programs. Kids sample all the hallmarks of a Canadian childhood. Rest assured our programs are geared toward the appropriate skill levels for age groups: our programs are tailor-made for campers from the littlest to the oldest.
We believe in making Ways of the Woods as accessible as possible for children in and around Halton. We provide FREE busing for select stops in Acton, Carlisle, Burlington, Georgetown, Milton, Mississauga, Oakville and Waterdown. The pick-up and drop-off times are later than other camps for your convenience. Specific times and locations are available online. If needed, extended care is available at Kelso.
We pride ourselves on teaching through play. We are amazed by the wilderness around us, and we show our campers all of the wonders in their big backyard of Halton Parks. Our summer day camp experience is an outdoor adventure every day.
Ways of the Woods is the day camp with a difference.
